Who this is for: Anyone who wants to update their AnswerPath password. Time: Under a minute.
Replaces your current password with a new one. Takes effect immediately.
In the sidebar footer, click Settings.
Go to the Password page. You'll see Change Password — "Update your password to keep your account secure".
Fill in:
New Password — at least 12 characters.
Confirm New Password — the same thing again, to catch typos.
Click Change Password. You'll see "Password updated successfully!".
"Password must be at least 12 characters long" — choose a longer password.
"New passwords do not match" — retype them carefully; watch for extra spaces.
Use this flow when you're already signed in. If you can't sign in because you've forgotten your password:
Go to the sign-in page.
Click Forgot your password?
Enter your email. You'll get a reset link.
Follow the link and set a new password. (Reset links expire after use and after a short time. If you see "Your password reset link has expired. Please request a new one below", just request another.)
Don't reuse passwords from other services. A password manager makes this effortless and much safer than memorizing one pattern.
12 characters is the minimum, not the target. Longer passphrases are stronger than short "complex" passwords.
Change it if you suspect a problem. If a laptop goes missing, a shared session is left open, or you see unexpected sign-in activity, rotate it right away.
