Who this is for: Anyone who wants to pull documents into AnswerPath from the tools your team already uses. Time: 2–5 minutes per integration.
Connects AnswerPath to your cloud storage and collaboration tools so you can import files into your Context Hub without uploading them by hand. Once connected, you can browse a provider and select which files to import.
On the Integrations page, under Available Integrations — "Connect your cloud storage, CRM, or other tools to import and sync data" — you'll see cards for each supported provider:
Provider | What it's for |
|---|---|
Google Drive | "Import documents directly from your Google Drive to build your knowledge base." |
OneDrive | "Connect Microsoft OneDrive to import documents and files." |
Box | "Access and import documents stored in Box." |
Dropbox | "Import files from your Dropbox account." |
GitHub | "Import documentation and markdown files from GitHub repositories." |
Slack | "Connect Slack to import message history and channel content." |
Each card shows a status badge: Connected, Not Connected, Needs Reconnection, or Error.
In the sidebar footer, click Settings.
Go to the Integrations page.
Find the provider card and click to connect it.
You'll be taken to the provider's sign-in and permission screen. Sign in with the account that owns the files you want AnswerPath to read, and approve the requested permissions.
You'll be redirected back to AnswerPath. On success, you'll see "Successfully connected to [Provider Name]" and the card's status badge updates to Connected.
Once connected, the easiest way to pull files in is through the Context Hub:
Go to Context Hub → Add.
In the Connect Data Sources section, pick the provider.
Browse to the folder you want and select one or more files.
Import. You'll see a status like "Imported 12 of 15 file(s)". Any that failed will be listed with the reason, e.g. "Failed to import 1 file(s): document.pdf: Access denied".
See Upload documents for the full Context Hub flow.
If you see one of these errors during connection, try the connect flow again:
"Invalid callback - missing required parameters"
"Connection is still pending. Please try again."
"Could not verify connection. Please try again."
"Connection is not active. Please try again."
"Failed to save connection. Please try again."
If the card shows Needs Reconnection, the provider has revoked your access token (commonly after a password change or expiration window). Reconnect from the same card.
Connect with an account that has lasting access. If you connect Google Drive with a personal account and that account later leaves the team, the connection breaks. Shared or service accounts are more stable.
Import the specific folders that matter. Pointing AnswerPath at "all of Google Drive" is rarely what you want — a bloated Context Hub produces worse drafts. Pick the folders that hold authoritative material. See Tips for better answers.
Re-import when docs change. Updating a Google Doc after import doesn't automatically update AnswerPath. If a doc in your Context Hub is out of date, re-import it.
