Who this is for: Anyone trying to understand where saved answers live, or the difference between the Answer Bank and the Context Hub.
Time: 2 minutes.
The Answer Bank is the searchable library of every question-and-answer pair your team has saved. When you or a teammate has already answered something well, the Answer Bank is where that answer lives so you can find it and reuse it.
Context Hub | Answer Bank | |
|---|---|---|
Contains | Your source documents (PDFs, websites, etc.) | Saved question-and-answer pairs |
Used by AnswerPath for | Drafting new answers from raw material | Reusing approved wording your team has already signed off on |
You edit | The underlying documents | The question and answer text directly |
Think of the Context Hub as raw material and the Answer Bank as finished goods. A healthy AnswerPath has both.
Search the library by question text.
Open any Q&A pair in a side panel to read the full question, the full answer, and any notes.
Copy an answer to your clipboard with one click, so you can paste it into email, a document, or a questionnaire.
When you use Ask a Question, review the draft, and click Save to Project, the saved pair becomes part of your Answer Bank and also shows up inside the project you saved it to.
Later, when your team runs a new question through AnswerPath, the Answer Bank is part of what it searches — meaning past good answers can influence new drafts automatically.
Quality over volume. A small Answer Bank of carefully reviewed answers is worth more than a large one full of unedited drafts. Only save what you'd be happy to stand behind.
Copy carefully. When you copy an answer to paste elsewhere, double-check it still fits the new context — details like dates and version numbers can drift.
