Who this is for: Owners who want to move to a different AnswerPath plan, add seats, or start paying after a trial.
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Takes you to AnswerPath's secure payment provider (Stripe) where you can change your subscription — switch between Solo and Professional, add seats, or move from a trial to a paid plan.
Only owners can change billing. Admins and members don't see these options.
In the sidebar footer, click Settings.
Go to the Billing page.
On the Current Plan card, click Manage Subscription.
You'll be taken to our secure payment provider. There you can:
Switch plans
Change seat count (Professional)
Update payment details
See billing history
Changes you make in the portal apply back to AnswerPath automatically. Close the portal tab when done and return to your AnswerPath dashboard.
Confirm you're the owner. Only the organization owner sees the Manage Subscription button. See Roles and permissions if you're not sure.
Count seats honestly. Professional includes up to 5 users. If you're inviting an 8-person team, choose accordingly. Over-seating is cheaper than being blocked mid-work; under-seating means some teammates can't be invited.
Check usage first. Open the Usage Details card to see your current consumption before deciding. If you're at 98/100 questions on Solo halfway through the month, Professional is almost certainly the right call.
Moving from Professional to Solo reduces your limits:
Only 5 documents allowed (you'll need to remove documents above that).
Only 100 questions per month.
Only 1 user (you'll need to remove other teammates first).
If any of these apply, sort them out before downgrading so you don't lose access to something you still need.
Back in AnswerPath:
The Current Plan card updates to show the new plan name and seat count.
Billing history is visible through View Invoices on the same card.
New quota limits take effect right away.
If Solo and Professional don't fit — more seats, more documents, higher question volume, custom contract terms — contact support to talk about options. See Contact support.
Keep the payment method owner on the account. Billing issues are much easier to resolve when the owner has direct access to the Stripe portal and the invoice email.
Start smaller, scale up. It's easier to move Solo → Professional than to explain a large unused Professional subscription at renewal.
Grab invoices at month-end. Use View Invoices to download PDFs for your finance team.
