Who this is for: Anyone who's trying to sign in to AnswerPath and can't get past the sign-in screen. Time: 2–5 minutes.
The email or password doesn't match what's on file.
Retype both, carefully. Watch for Caps Lock and trailing spaces.
If you're not sure about the password, reset it — click Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen, enter your email, and follow the link.
If the email might be wrong, confirm you're using the same address you signed up with.
You signed up but haven't clicked the verification link yet.
Open the email from AnswerPath titled about confirming your account.
Click the link inside. You should see "Email verified successfully! Please sign in with your credentials."
Come back to the sign-in screen and sign in.
If you can't find the email, check your spam folder. If it's genuinely missing, try signing up again with the same email — you'll get a fresh confirmation link.
This shows on the Create account screen if your email is already registered. Switch to the sign-in tab and sign in with that email. If you don't remember the password, use Forgot your password?.
You've entered the wrong password too many times in a row. AnswerPath has temporarily paused sign-in attempts from your device to stop anyone guessing.
Wait a minute or two.
Use Forgot your password? to reset, rather than continuing to guess.
Reset links expire after a short time or after you've already used one.
On the sign-in screen, click Forgot your password? again to request a fresh link.
Open the new email and follow the link promptly.
A magic link or password-reset link has expired or was tampered with.
Start the flow over (Forgot your password?) and use the new link quickly, and only from the device where you'll be signing in.
Are you on the right URL? Always start from your normal AnswerPath URL, not a link in a suspicious email.
Is it a typo? Try a different browser to rule out a browser-autocomplete issue.
Has an admin removed you? If your access was revoked (by your org owner/admin, or because your invite was revoked), signing in won't let you into the organization. Ask a teammate to check in the Organization settings.
